Electronic Arts hosted a special livestream to commemorate the 25th anniversary of The Sims franchise, unveiling exciting gifts and events planned for The Sims 4 players.
The festivities have already begun with a new update addressing various bugs, featuring a redesigned main menu, and enhanced optimization. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a makeover. These updated houses are available immediately for new game starts, while existing saves can access them via the in-game library.
The main anniversary celebration commences February 4th with an update delivering over 70 free in-game items! Simultaneously, the "Blast from the Past" in-game event begins, offering players retro-style rewards through a series of simple challenges.
Furthermore, a new season titled "Motherlode" launches in The Sims 4 on February 6th. Details regarding the "Motherlode" season's content remain undisclosed for now, adding an element of surprise.
