Participants in the jam will have the chance to compete for a lucrative prize pool of €10,000 in cash, along with premium Photon licenses. The top prizes include:
- 500 CCU with Circle Starter for a year (€7,500 value)
- 500 CCU for a year (€1,500 value)
- 100 CCU for a year (€100 value)
The only requirements for participants are that games must be developed and submitted within the jam period and must adhere to PEGI 12 rating standards. Beyond these guidelines, developers are encouraged to let their imaginations soar!
Since its inception in 2014, CrazyGames has grown to become the leading platform for free online gaming, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and WebGL to deliver seamless gaming experiences. During the jam, CrazyGames will provide support to participants and offer a chance for winning games to be featured on its platform.
In anticipation of the event, a pre-jam livestream will take place on April 24th at 4 pm CEST on YouTube and LinkedIn. This session will delve into the capabilities of two new WebGL platforms, Fusion and Quantum. Mark Val, Head of Growth at Photon Engine, expressed enthusiasm about the potential of these platforms, stating, "Photon has supported multiplayer WebGL for over a decade, and our new Fusion and Quantum samples let you create high-performant multiplayer games easily. We believe a WebGL game will be in the top 20 of the world’s most visited websites in the coming year, and the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is a good opportunity for everyone to innovate on the platform."
Registration for the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is free and open to developers of all skill levels. For more details and to sign up, visit the official jam page.
