Gamers, brace yourselves: the notorious 2D platformer, Jump King, which is infamous for its rage-inducing challenges, has now made its way to mobile devices. Nexile and UKIYO Publishing have rolled out the game globally for Android and iOS users after a successful soft launch in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark back in March. Originally launched on PC in 2019 and on consoles in 2020, Jump King retains its signature brutal jumping mechanics on mobile platforms.
What's Jump King on Mobile Like?
In Jump King, you step into the boots of an armored protagonist whose sole mission is to jump. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. Each jump must be meticulously calculated and executed, as any misstep will send you tumbling back to the start. The game auto-saves after every jump, keeping the tension high. Your ultimate goal? To ascend to the top and meet the elusive Smoking Hot Babe of Legend. Be warned, she won’t offer any easy paths—mess up a single jump, and it’s back to square one. The mobile version features intuitive controls, where you hold to charge your jump and release to soar. It's a test of precision, patience, and managing those moments of panic that lead to poor decisions.
What Else Should You Know?
Jump King Mobile operates on a heart-based system. You begin with 300 hearts, losing one each time you fall. To replenish your hearts, you can spin a daily fortune wheel for a chance to win between 10 and 150 hearts, or watch ads to gain up to 150 free hearts. The mobile version also comes packed with two full expansions: New Babe+, a second chapter offering a unique and challenging new path, and Ghost of the Babe, a haunting third act set beyond the Philosopher’s Forest in an eerily deserted landscape.
If this sounds like your kind of challenge, you can download Jump King from the Google Play Store. And don’t forget to check out our next feature on The Iconic Reality TV Experience Through Big Brother – The Game, which is available now.
