Monster Hunter Rise's world is impressively interconnected. One player recently demonstrated this by completing a remarkable journey from the starting zone to the game's late-game areas in a single, continuous run.
On the Monster Hunter subreddit, user -BrotherPig- shared a video (see below) showcasing their epic trek across the game's various zones. Beginning in the Windward Plains, they traversed dunes and diverse landscapes, ultimately reaching some of the game's final areas. (Spoiler warning: Viewers who haven't completed the main story should proceed with caution.)
Did you know there's only 1 loading screen between the Plains and Suja? 9min ride through all zones.

This lengthy journey highlights the seamless connectivity between zones. Only one loading screen interrupted the entire trip, occurring during the transition from the Oilwell Basin to the Iceshard Cliffs. Otherwise, it was a single, uninterrupted run for this clearly dedicated hunter.
While Monster Hunter Rise isn't entirely devoid of loading screens (there are loading screens for the training grounds and fast travel, for instance), the extent of the zone connectivity is striking. It offers a fresh perspective on the intricate pathways and passages connecting the Forbidden Lands.

According to a series producer, the game's success hinges on its compelling story, immersive world, and cross-play functionality. Personally, I've been captivated by the player discoveries showcasing the innovative ways Rise adapts the series' mechanics to an open-world setting. Regardless of your motivation for playing, there's plenty to keep you engaged until the first Title Update arrives in April.

IGN's review of Monster Hunter Rise awarded it an 8/10, stating: “Monster Hunter Rise continues to smooth off the rougher corners of the series in smart ways, making for some extremely fun fights but also lacking any real challenge.”
