The Heart of the Dream Under Threat
Ysera's serene Emerald Dream, the wellspring of nature magic, faces a grave threat. Players can choose to defend its beauty or succumb to the encroaching chaos.
Embrace the Imbue Keyword (for select classes)
The expansion introduces the "Imbue" keyword. Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans will receive the World Tree's blessings. Playing an Imbue card transforms your Hero Power, becoming progressively stronger with each subsequent Imbue card played. Hunters, for instance, gain the Blessing of the Wolf. Other classes will not benefit from the Imbue mechanic.
Yield to the Dark Gifts (for other select classes)
For those who prefer darkness over light, the Old Gods offer "Dark Gifts," a corrupting keyword available to Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Rogues, Warlocks, and Warriors. These twisted enhancements synergize with Discover options, enabling the creation of devastating nightmare minions. Ten unique Dark Gifts await discovery within the Emerald Dream.
Introducing the Wild Gods
Legendary Wild God minions, colossal forces of nature, are also part of the expansion. Each class receives a Wild God, some corrupted, creating a compelling conflict between those defending the Dream and those embracing the Nightmare.
