This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before heading off, the project lead, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, took the opportunity to share exciting updates about the much-anticipated features fans have been requesting for the game, detailing which ones will be implemented and to what extent.

In InZOI, players will have the innovative ability to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further streamlined, according to Kjun, who aims to make the creation process even simpler. Additionally, fans of the game can look forward to having their own pets within the game, although this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Kjun, a noted animal lover himself, assures that players will eventually be able to enjoy this beloved addition.
The game's world will also feature tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. While the game engine is capable of supporting higher constructions, this limitation is in place to ensure optimal performance. Furthermore, InZOI will include gas stations and combat scenarios. Responding to player feedback on the slap mechanic from early previews, Kjun has promised to enhance the fighting system, introducing full-fledged fights with clear winners and losers, adding depth to the gameplay experience.
Recognizing the influx of newcomers to the genre, the developers have also decided to include a comprehensive tutorial in InZOI. This thoughtful addition is designed to ease players into the game, demonstrating a commendable level of consideration for the community's needs.
As it stands, Krafton is on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays anticipated. Fans of the game can eagerly await the chance to dive into this richly detailed world, complete with the features they've been eagerly requesting.
