Following a reported apology from Microsoft, Jyamma Games has shifted its stance on the delayed Xbox release of its debut title, Enotria: The Last Song. While the situation has improved, a concrete release date remains elusive.
Microsoft's Apology Resolves Enotria Xbox Release Delays
Jyamma Games Expresses Gratitude to Phil Spencer and the Community
Microsoft's apology to Jyamma Games follows a significant delay in the Xbox certification process for Enotria: The Last Song. The delay, lasting over two months, prompted Jyamma Games to announce an indefinite postponement of the Xbox release earlier this week. Jyamma CEO, Jacky Greco, initially expressed frustration on the game's Discord server, citing a lack of response from Microsoft.
However, following Microsoft's intervention and apology, Jyamma Games took to Twitter (X) to express gratitude to Phil Spencer and his team for their swift response and assistance. The studio also acknowledged the significant support from the player community, stating their voices were instrumental in resolving the issue.
Jyamma Games is now actively collaborating with Microsoft to expedite the Xbox release, although a specific date remains unconfirmed.
Further details emerged on Enotria's Discord server, where Greco confirmed Microsoft's apology and commitment to resolving the situation.
Jyamma Games isn't alone in facing Xbox release challenges. Funcom recently reported optimization difficulties porting Dune: Awakening to the Xbox Series S. While the PS5 and PC versions of Enotria: The Last Song remain on track for a September 19th release, the Xbox launch date remains uncertain.
