Mojang introduced the year's first seasonal update, "Spring to Life," designed to make Overworld biomes feel more vibrant through new cow, pig, and chicken variants, along with immersive environmental details like glowing firefly bushes, falling leaves, and desert wind sounds. The unnamed second seasonal update will introduce the innovative Dried Ghast block, which can transform into a Ghastling (essentially a baby Ghast) when hydrated, eventually maturing into a rideable Happy Ghast. Players can craft special harnesses to pilot these cheerful mobs, with each capable of carrying four adventurers.
