Understanding Village Earnings
Your village earnings indicate the gold you generate per second, a critical factor for your ranking in the Village Earnings Rank Rush event and for progressing in the game.
To check your earnings:
- Go to the Home screen.
- Tap the “i” icon next to your earnings in the top left corner.
- Review your current earnings and your historical maximum.
Note that the historical maximum is only relevant for the Village Earnings Rank Rush and cannot be manually adjusted to affect rankings.
Building Upgrades and Hiring Staff
Buildings are central to your gold generation. As you advance through stages, more buildings become available, and upgrading them boosts your earnings potential.
How to Increase Earnings Through Buildings:
- Hire staff to enhance building efficiency.
- Upgrade building levels to increase the hiring cap.
- Assign Fellows strategically to optimize production.
Each building has a limited number of staff slots, expandable as follows:
- Slot 2: Unlocks after hiring 50 employees.
- Slot 3: Unlocks after hiring 200 employees.
- Slot 4: Unlocks after hiring 800 employees.
- Slot 5: Unlocks after hiring 5,000 employees.

The Farmstead is particularly important, offering a +10% bonus per level to all buildings, making it a must-have early-game upgrade.
Maximizing Family Gathering Bonuses
Under the “Skill” section for each Family member, there are 36 different gathering bonuses that unlock as you increase intimacy levels.
Important Intimacy Levels for Earnings Bonuses:
- 100, 250, 550, 1,000, 2,000, and 5,000.
Ensure all Family members reach at least level 550 for a significant boost. It's more cost-effective to upgrade multiple Family members to level 550 rather than focusing on just a few to level 5,000.
