Ash of Gods: Redemption has launched its comprehensive REWORKED edition. Created by AurumDust, this update fundamentally reshapes the gameplay and feel of the turn-based RPG, representing the largest transformation the game has undergone since its original release.
Every game system, from combat to visuals, has been completely rebuilt!
First, players can now choose between two distinct modes. The original Vanilla mode preserves the classic experience, while the new Reworked mode introduces a polished and revitalized system. According to the developers, this option was a direct response to persistent feedback from the dedicated community.
The revised turn-order system is another key improvement. Previously, smaller teams had a significant advantage due to faster turn cycling. This has been balanced. Now, every unit on the battlefield must act before a new combat round starts, though smaller squads still retain initiative.
Regarding movement, characters can perform multiple moves within a single turn. Furthermore, enemy AI uses ability cards in a more strategic and varied manner as the Reaping level increases. In specific battles, foes even draw from predetermined, thematic decks instead of random selections.
The Reworked edition has rebalanced items to be more useful, particularly in the early stages of the campaign. Another quality-of-life enhancement is the visibility of enemy health bars during the pre-battle deployment phase.
Additionally, the Gells faction, which was prone to depleting energy too quickly, has received a substantial boost to its energy economy. Other characters, including Gleda and Lo Pheng, have also been fine-tuned for greater battlefield effectiveness.

This update evolves the game into a more modern and tactically deep experience. All alterations and additions are the result of years of refinement guided by direct player input. Notably, the game now runs at a smooth 60 FPS, a significant upgrade from the previous 30 FPS limit.
The Reworked update is live and available for download on the Google Play Store. If you prefer to try a demo first, you can access it here.
