Reacher Season 3 has become a massive success for Amazon, setting a record as the most-watched returning season on Prime Video. It also ranks as the most-viewed season on the platform since Fallout, based on viewership within its first 19 days.
The series follows Jack Reacher, a former U.S. Army military police major portrayed by Alan Ritchson, who drifts across the country and frequently finds himself entangled in dangerous situations through no fault of his own. Reacher excels at taking down criminals and solving complex mysteries—proving not only to be the toughest man in the room but also the sharpest.
This season, however, Reacher meets his physical match: Dutch giant Olivier Richters, who stands an incredible 7 feet 2 inches tall, towering over Ritchson.

According to Variety, Reacher Season 3 attracted 54.6 million viewers globally in its first 19 days—a number almost large enough to span the broad shoulders of Alan Ritchson himself.
That marks a 0.5% increase compared to Season 2 over the same period, indicating that Reacher—already a standout hit for Prime Video—continues to gain momentum. Its appeal isn't limited to the U.S., either. More than half of its audience comes from international markets, with particularly strong viewership in the U.K., Germany, and Brazil.
For comparison, Fallout reached 65 million viewers in its first 16 days after its April 2024 debut, while The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 drew 40 million viewers within 11 days of its August 2024 premiere.
IGN's review of Reacher Season 3 awarded it an 8/10, noting: "While this season takes more creative liberties with its source material than before, Reacher himself is more relentless than ever, delivering another dose of highly satisfying action."
Unsurprisingly, Reacher Season 4 has already been confirmed. The renewal was secured even before Season 3 premiered.
