How to Play Marriage Rummy:
- Cards: Uses three decks of 52 cards, with options to add Man Cards (up to 3) and a Superman Card.
- Variations: Includes Murder and Kidnap variations.
- Players: Supports 2-5 players.
- Game Time: Approximately 4-5 minutes per game.
- Objective: Arrange 21 cards into valid sets.
Key Terms:
- Tiplu: Same suit and rank as the joker card.
- Alter Card: Same color and rank as the joker, different suit.
- Man Card: Joker-faced card used to create sets after seeing the joker.
- Jhiplu & Poplu: Same suit as Tiplu, one rank lower/higher respectively.
- Ordinary Jokers: Same rank as Tiplu, different color.
- Superman Card: Special card for set creation.
- Pure Sequence: Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit.
- Trial: Three cards of the same rank, different suits.
- Tunnella: Three cards of the same suit and rank (a Marriage).
- Marriage: Three cards of the same suit and rank.
Gameplay:
- Initial Gameplay (Before Joker): Form 3 pure sequences or Tunnellas. A Superman card can be used for a pure sequence. Show combinations, discard a card to reveal the joker.
- Final Gameplay (After Joker): Build sequences and trials using remaining cards, including Man Cards, Superman Card, Alter Cards, Ordinary Jokers, Tiplu, Jhiplu, and Poplu as jokers. Note: Jokers cannot be used for Tunnellas.
Game Modes: Kidnap, Murder, and varying numbers of Man Cards.
