While obtaining the Astral Feather from the Astral Swan doesn't require the associated quest, the "Soaring Above the Starry Sky" mission offers valuable insights.
Soaring Above the Starry Sky Quest:
To initiate this quest, navigate to the Stellar Fishing Ground Peak Warp Spire and interact with Curious Pinny. The quest involves visiting Lensie's house (easily located via the in-game map tracker), grooming the Astral Swan, equipping the Floral Gliding outfit, and embarking on a flight with the majestic creature.
Following the flight, the quest continues with these steps:
- Locate Pinny and Lensie.
- Find Elron in Stoneville.
Grooming the Astral Swan:
Grooming is straightforward; simply use the Bye-Bye Dust or a similar grooming Ability Outfit. This action also rewards you with the valuable Astral Feather material.
Equipping the Floral Gliding Outfit:
Next, equip the Floral Gliding Ability Outfit to enable flight. For optimal results, change into this complete outfit set from your wardrobe.
Flying with the Astral Swan:
Activate the Floral Gliding Outfit near the Astral Swan to initiate a cutscene. During the flight, remain close to the Swan to avoid interrupting the sequence. Press the "Soar" button when prompted. Crucially, maintain the Floral Gliding outfit active until the Swan fully lands to ensure quest progression. Prematurely ending the flight will halt progress.
