This app, OPL DRC Reader, is designed to read OBDII Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from Opel, Vauxhall, and Chevrolet vehicles manufactured after 2004 that utilize a CAN BUS (HS-CAN) system.
Supported Vehicles:
- Opel/Vauxhall: Insignia, Astra J, Astra H (engine module only), Vectra C/Signum (engine module only). Other models are untested.
- Chevrolet: Orlando, Cruze (untested). Other models are untested.
- Other GM brands: Untested.
The application displays vehicle information such as VIN and engine code, along with a list of detected errors from the Engine Control Module (ECU), Body Control Module (BCM), and Transmission Control Module (TCM). Mileage retrieval from certain modules is also possible, depending on the vehicle.
Important Note:
A compatible ELM327 Bluetooth interface (version 1.3 or higher) is required for proper functionality. The app may not work with low-quality ELM327 clones.
