Diagnose and Reset Car Trouble Codes with OBD Arny
OBD Arny is a user-friendly OBD2 diagnostic scanner app. It requires an ELM327 Bluetooth or Wi-Fi adapter for connection to your vehicle. Important: Ensure your car is OBD2 compatible. ELM327 adapter version 1.5 is recommended over 2.1 due to potential corruption issues with the latter.
Getting Started:
- Download OBD Arny.
- Enable Bluetooth.
- Discover your ELM adapter (Bluetooth adapters only).
- Select your adapter in the app settings.
- Begin scanning your vehicle.
Diagnostic Capabilities:
Using OBD Arny with your ELM327 adapter, you can:
- Retrieve basic vehicle information (OBD2 standard).
- Perform diagnostics, reading and clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
- Access live data streams, including speed, RPM, engine coolant temperature, engine load, fuel trims, and pressure readings.
A demo mode is available to explore the app's features without an ELM327 adapter.
Full Version Features:
The free version has limited functionality. The full version offers:
- Ad-free experience.
- Access to DTCs hidden in the free version.
- Selection of up to 10 live data parameters (compared to 3 in the free version).
- Freeze frame data.
Note: The number of supported live data parameters is vehicle-dependent, not application-version dependent.
