Long ago, to quell the chaos of elemental spirits across the Klein Continent, the Grand Sorcerer Huey placed elemental gemstones within five altars to regulate nature, protecting them with powerful seals. Every decade, Huey and his clan would visit the altars to maintain the stones' power. However, twenty years ago, Huey disappeared. With no one to tend to the gemstones, balance was lost, causing natural disasters and the spread of the Dead Zone. In response, Huey's familiars summoned a protagonist from another world: Eiden.
Upon arriving on the Klein Continent, Eiden takes up the mantle of the missing Grand Sorcerer. He learns to control his essence—similar to Huey's—and engages in "intimate exchanges" with clan members to better understand this power, all to release the seals on the gemstones and restore their energy.
