HoYoverse has announced the exciting launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to roll out on April 23rd. This update promises to wrap up the gripping narrative of Season 1 with a thrilling conclusion.
What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?
The much-anticipated mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis will finally be unraveled. Players, known as Proxies, will delve deep into Vivian's intricate backstory while the fate of Hugo, following his dramatic fall into the Hollow, will be resolved, moving beyond mere rumors and speculation.
The tension between Mockingbird and TOPS escalates after Hugo's incident, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator. Alongside Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territory in search of the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's confrontation with figures from her past will unfold, and the veil over the Exaltists' conspiracy will begin to lift.

Here’s the Character Lineup
Two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird will be introduced. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, skillfully wields a parasol and rapier, delivering substantial Corruption damage when combined with other characters’ EX Special Attacks. Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, wields a suitcase that transforms into a scythe, triggering a Totalize effect on stunned enemies that increases damage based on the remaining duration of the stun.
Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, will join the fray, using cards to unleash random effects. Returning characters include Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, who will be featured again in Version 1.7’s banners.
Version 1.7 will also introduce new events to Zenless Zone Zero. The "Say It With Flowers" event allows players to manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements for customers. Completing commissions will unlock a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
