Celebrating 25 Years of Yu-Gi-Oh!
Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is bringing back beloved Game Boy era titles to modern platforms! This initial announcement confirms several classic games included in this celebratory collection:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2
While Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2 were previously announced, Konami promises a total of ten classic games will eventually be revealed. The full lineup will be shared at a later date.
These original Game Boy releases are getting a significant upgrade. Konami is adding online battle support and save/load functionality, features not available in the original versions. Games that originally featured local co-op will now support online co-op. Expect quality-of-life improvements, button customization options, and adjustable background settings.
