Xbox Game Pass Welcomes New Titles in Early January 2025
Microsoft has unveiled its first wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing departures. The lineup, revealed on January 7th, 2025, via the official Xbox blog, includes a mix of genres and access tiers.
New Arrivals:
Road 96 (available now across all tiers) leads the charge, marking its return to the service after a previous stint. Joining it on January 8th are:
- Lightyear Frontier (Preview - Standard subscription)
- My Time at Sandrock (Standard subscription)
- Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders (Standard subscription)
- Rolling Hills (Standard subscription)
January 14th brings two high-profile additions:
- UFC 5 (Game Pass Ultimate only)
- Diablo (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass only)
The inclusion of Diablo and UFC 5, previously rumored, is confirmed, though their availability is restricted to higher-tier subscriptions.
Game Pass Ultimate Perks:
Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched on January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.
Departures:
As new games arrive, others depart. Six titles will leave Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:
- Common'hood
- Escape Academy
- Exoprimal
- Figment
- Insurgency Sandstorm
- Those Who Remain
