Though optional, completing this quest is highly recommended, especially considering a Nightmare Echo is trapped within Fagaceae Peninsula's stormy ruins. This quest is lengthy; equip your strongest Resonators and prepare for a substantial challenge.
Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough
This exploration quest is combat-intensive. Begin at the ruined base south of Shores of Last Breath, interacting with the damaged Lumiscale Construct. The quest objectives are:
- Energize three steles at designated locations.
- Return to and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
- Pursue the Lumiscale Construct.
- Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (again).
- Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.
Energizing the Steles
The Discipline Steles on the marked altars charge while standing on the central glowing circle. Enemies interrupting this process will hinder progress; eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from the altar will deplete its energy.
Utilize the 2.0 update's enhanced elemental damage and status effects to your advantage.
For the third stele set, position them before enemy spawns. If interaction is difficult, adjust character and camera angles until a prompt appears.
Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct
Use your team's most powerful Resonators to attack the Lumiscale Construct upon returning to the starting area. A cutscene triggers upon significantly lowering its health, prompting its pursuit deeper into the ruins.
The environment becomes increasingly hazardous during the chase, with falling debris and lightning. Eliminate all enemies encountered. A final confrontation with the Lumiscale Construct awaits.
The Dragon of Dirge
This formidable foe can easily stunlock or one-shot characters. Evade its breath and falling star attacks, aiming for quick stuns. The optimal strategy is to wait for its major attacks to end before attempting a stun.
Upon defeating the dragon, the quest concludes. Access to the remainder of Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena, is then granted.
