Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, turning their attention to the popular Witcher series. A YouTube creator, Sora AI, recently unveiled a concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, skillfully emulating the aesthetic of 1980s films using neural network technology.
The trailer features many recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, and Priscilla, though with subtle stylistic alterations. Despite these changes, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of The Witcher 3 hinted at a planned addition: Triss's wedding. Originally intended for Novigrad, the "Ashen Marriage" quest would have depicted Triss's burgeoning romance with Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. In this scenario, Geralt aids in the wedding preparations, tasks ranging from ridding the canals of monsters to procuring alcohol and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the gift Geralt chooses. Less elaborate gifts are met with lukewarm responses, while a memory rose – a familiar item from The Witcher 2 – elicits a much stronger emotional response.
