"This adventure features 20 expansive stages to master. All the gold and treasure you collect can be spent on bonus items between stages. You can also pause your quest to enjoy any of the game's charming mini-games."
Upon its original 2001 release, the game was highly acclaimed, receiving a 9/10 score in IGN's review. "The game design boasts impressive variety and offers a greater challenge than typical side-scrollers, focusing on puzzling out how to reach specific areas within each level," the review noted.
Wario Land 4 becomes the 24th Game Boy Advance title in the service, joining other classics such as Mario Kart: Super Circuit, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team.
