- Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is featured in the new Warhammer Skulls showcase
- The showcase will introduce the latest faction joining Tacticus
- More Imperial forces? Chaos legions? Or perhaps the Xenos will receive attention?
Whether you love it or hate it, Snowprint Studios' Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus stands as the premier mobile Warhammer experience. Even skeptics must acknowledge its impressive roster of factions, which is about to grow even larger with a major new addition!
So what is this new faction? That's precisely what remains unknown. The announcement is scheduled for May 22nd during the annual Warhammer Skulls gaming showcase, which will also feature significant discounts across various grimdark games set in the far future, Old World, and beyond.
With more than a dozen factions already in Tacticus, the possibilities seem surprisingly limited. We might see another Imperium or Chaos derivative, but among xenos races, several factions deserve more recognition—and I have my own hypothesis.
Rock and stoneIf I were to speculate about Tacticus' next faction, I'd suggest the recently introduced Leagues of Votann as a strong contender. This faction of deep-space miners, heavy drinkers, and cloned definitely-not-dwarves represented a surprising addition to the 40k universe.
A gaming appearance would significantly boost awareness of this intriguing faction. Realistically, we'll probably get something like Grey Knights or the Inquisition, but be sure to watch the Warhammer Skulls showcase on Twitch at 9am PST, 12pm EST, 5pm BST and 6pm CEST to discover the truth for yourself!
