While the gameplay of Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus may not appeal to everyone, it undoubtedly delivers a faithful Warhammer 40k experience—especially with Imperium factions receiving significantly more focus than others. Fittingly, the latest faction introduced is the Adeptus Custodes.

Putting aside any reservations about the Golden Boys, the Adeptus Custodes usher in a new level of dominance on the battlefield. As the Emperor's personal guard, they stand above Space Marines in both might and stature, equipped with the finest weapons and gear, and renowned for their imposing presence.

Shield-Captain Trajann Valoris will lead the new Custodes faction in an upcoming Legendary event beginning this month. Starting May 24th, this Survival Event challenges even the Adeptus Custodes with its intense and demanding trials.

Revealed as part of the Warhammer Skulls gaming showcase—which also introduced Supremacy: Warhammer 40,000—Tacticus's decision to feature a major faction comes as no surprise. Unfortunately, fans of the Leagues of Votann will need to wait a bit longer for their arrival.
