World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways
World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering a whopping seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns, running until February 24th. Prepare for a whirlwind tour through various WoW expansions, earning exciting rewards along the way.
This extended event builds upon the popular five-week Turbulent Timeways event from September 2023. Players can once again earn Timewarped Badges, a powerful experience buff, and complete quests and activities within each Timewalking campaign. The key reward is the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, which provides a 20% experience boost after completing four Timewalking dungeons.
A Timewalking Marathon:
This time, the journey is even more epic! The seven-week schedule covers a different Timewalking expansion each week, starting with Mists of Pandaria on January 7th and culminating in Cataclysm the week of February 18th.

Rewards Galore:
Complete the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest for a Cache of Nerubian Treasures, rewarding Heroic gear during the event. Timewalking vendors have permanent additions to their inventory, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. Players who missed the Sandy Shalewing pet from the previous event will have another chance to obtain it.
The grand prize? Achieving Mastery of Timeways for five out of the seven weeks unlocks the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement, awarding the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount!
Looking Ahead:
The conclusion of Turbulent Timeways on February 24th offers a clue to future WoW plans. Considering Blizzard's typical release schedule and the holiday season, February 25th is a strong contender for the launch of World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, Undermined, marking a ten-week interval since Patch 11.0.7. With this event, the second run of Plunderstorm, and The War Within's upcoming content update, World of Warcraft is set for an action-packed start to 2025. Get ready to Timewalk!
