Sonderland has been releasing some unique games recently. I previously covered their Android game, Bella Wants Blood. Now, I'm sharing news about their latest title: Landnama – Viking Strategy RPG.
The name pretty much sums it up: a strategy RPG featuring Vikings. Players take on the role of a Viking chieftain striving to establish a life in medieval Iceland. This isn't your average city builder.
Survival is Key in Landnama – Viking Strategy RPG
The core challenge is surviving the harsh Icelandic winters, utilizing a single crucial resource: Hearts. These Hearts are the lifeblood of your Viking clan, essential for construction, upgrades, and simply staying alive.
Landnama blends strategy and puzzle elements. Forget intense combat; this is about nurturing a burgeoning Viking community. Players explore, strategically build settlements, and carefully manage resources to endure the cold.
The gameplay is refreshingly brisk, complemented by calming visuals. Here's a sneak peek:
Conquering the Freezing Winters ---------------------------------------------------------The Heart resource is your key to survival. You'll decide between expanding your settlement (which consumes Hearts) or focusing on hunting and building up supplies for the winter.
Choosing fertile land for construction seems logical, but each terrain presents its own unique challenges. Fans of Northgard and Catan will likely appreciate Landnama. Find it now on the Google Play Store.
