Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's journey to completion has hit another bump, pushing the release to October 2025. The announcement came via the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update from Executive Producer Marco Behrmann. He shared, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox Interactive has been keeping fans in the loop through Dev Diaries, showcasing the game's characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to focus on enhancing the game's quality, all Dev Diaries will be paused for the time being.
First Revealed in 2019
The journey of Bloodlines 2 began with its announcement in March 2019, initially targeting a March 2020 release. Developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time, the game faced its first delay to an unspecified date in 2020, which was later extended to 2021. Amidst these delays, several key team members departed the project. In a significant shift, Paradox Interactive announced in February 2021 that Hardsuit Labs would step away, with The Chinese Room taking over development. This transition led to revised release expectations, first to late 2024, then to the first half of 2025, and now to the end of 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is now slated for release in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned to our updates for the latest news on this eagerly anticipated title!
