Niantic has exciting news for Pokemon GO enthusiasts: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, are set to make their debut in the game during the upcoming Fashion Week: Taken Over event. This event kicks off on January 15, promising players a range of bonuses, raids, and the introduction of these two unique monsters from the Gen 9 games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Shroodle, a Poison/Normal-type Pokemon, is known for its large head and eyes that dominate its appearance. At level 28, Shroodle evolves into Grafaiai, a lemur-like primate with distinctive large eyes and three-fingered hands. Both have also made brief appearances in Pokemon Horizons episodes, adding to their allure.
During the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, which runs from January 15 at 12 am to January 19 at 8 pm local time, players can encounter Shroodle by hatching 12 km eggs. Evolving Shroodle into Grafaiai requires 50 Shroodle Candy. The event will also see an increased presence of Team GO Rocket at PokeStops and in balloons, giving players more opportunities to engage with Shadow Pokemon. A unique feature allows trainers to help Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration using a Charged TM. Additionally, taking a snapshot during the event may lead to an encounter with a stylish Croagunk.
