New Pokémon Sleep Companions: Sneasel and Weavile!
Pokémon Sleep players have a treat! As of December 3rd, 2024, Sneasel and Weavile are available to befriend. This guide explains how.
Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile
Given their Ice/Dark typing in the main series, you might expect them in a snowy location. In Pokémon Sleep, however, they're classified as Dark types (no dual typing in this game). You can find them at Snowdrop Tundra. Conveniently, they also appear on Greengrass Isle, making them accessible to all players, regardless of research island progress. Use an EZ Travel Ticket to change islands if needed.
Sleep Types
Both Sneasel and Weavile are Dozing type Pokémon. For increased encounter rates, ensure your sleep type matches Dozing before starting Sleep Research on either Snowdrop Tundra or Greengrass Isle. Sneasel is easier to find initially. Evolving it to Weavile requires 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. Remember, you'll still need to encounter Weavile in the wild for Sleep Research data.
Are They Good in Pokémon Sleep?
Sneasel's value lies in its berry gathering abilities (Wiki Berries) and its contribution to dish tastiness. Its ingredient requirements include sought-after items, making a well-equipped Sneasel a valuable asset to your Snowdrop Tundra team.

Sneasel Debut Bundle
