The core experience revolves around a sophisticated training system. As a Trainer, your role is to mentor each girl, unlocking her true potential through strategic racing, dedicated support, and progressive skill development.
A primary Career Mode allows you to dedicate yourself to a single trainee. You'll also select two legendary Umamusume as inspirational figures. These legacies impart Sparks—unique enhancements tied to specific aptitudes, base stats, and signature skills.
Your strategy deepens with a selection of six support cards, which directly shape your trainee's growth path by influencing stat gains, triggering special events, and unlocking new skills. Your ultimate goal is to guide your Umamusume to victory on the track and a triumphant performance in dazzling, full 3D post-race concerts.
The Races Are a Spectacle!
Watch as up to 18 Umamusume thunder down the track, accompanied by dynamic commentary for an authentic live-sports atmosphere. Every hard-fought victory culminates in a celebratory stage show. This creates a compelling cycle of training, racing, winning, and performing.
For greater competition, step into Team Trials. This PvP mode challenges your roster of 15 Umamusume against teams from other players. Races are categorized by distance and surface: Sprint, Mile, Medium, and Long for turf courses, while Dirt races are consistently run over one mile.
To mark the launch, Umamusume: Pretty Derby is hosting a celebration event. Logging in now grants special rewards, including carats and a Trainee Umamusume Scout Ticket. Additionally, T.M. Opera O is currently featured with an increased appearance rate in the scout pool.
