- Make your first encounter with Tinkatink and its evolved forms in Pokémon Go
- Additional Paldea region Pokémon are also entering the game
- Numerous rewards are available to earn
The Horizons Celebration returns to Pokémon Go, introducing something glittering, powerful, and distinctly pink—Tinkatink has arrived. For the very first time, Tinkatink along with its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton, are joining the lineup during a special event from April 16th to 22nd.
The hammers these Pokémon carry aren't just decorative. Tinkaton is famous for hurling rocks at Corviknight, and now you can evolve your own by gathering Candy throughout the week. You'll need approximately 125 Candy to reach the final evolution stage.
Alongside Tinkatink's debut, there's a new costumed variant. Floragato wearing a hat with Liko's pin will appear in the wild, hatch from Eggs, and even feature in Raids. Lucky players might even encounter its Shiny version. Several other Pokémon, including Pikachu wearing Cap's hat and Charcadet, may also appear.

A selection of Paldea favorites such as Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi are roaming the wild, while 7 km Eggs can hatch familiar faces like Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance of hatching Tinkatink. Keep an eye out for snapshot surprises too—Horizons characters and their Pokémon might photobomb your pictures.

On the battle front, Pikachu in Cap's hat knows a special move, Volt Tackle, and Raids feature a strong lineup including Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. For bonus seekers, Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more often, Egg hatch distances are cut in half, and both Shiny encounter rates and Stardust rewards are boosted.
Field Research is available, along with free and premium Timed Research offering extra rewards like an exclusive avatar pose. You can also prepare for the event by purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99.
