Eclipse Glow Games Unveils "Tides of Annihilation," a New Action-Adventure Title

Revealed at Sony's State of Play 2025, Tides of Annihilation is a single-player action-adventure game promising a captivating narrative and intense combat. Developed by the Chengdu-based studio, Eclipse Glow Games (backed by Tencent), the game casts players as Gwendolyn, navigating a mystical, otherworldly invasion of modern-day London.

The debut trailer (see below) showcases the game's blend of breakneck combat, immersive storytelling, and a unique setting. Players will explore iconic London landmarks, summoning spectral Knights of the Round Table to battle enemies inspired by Arthurian mythos, and facing colossal skyscraper-sized bosses.

Eclipse Glow Games, a team of over 100 developers with experience on titles such as Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin's Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia, is excited about the game's debut. Lead Game Producer Kun Fu stated, "Debuting Tides of Annihilation at Sony State of Play is an incredible achievement. We've crafted a world reimagining Arthurian legend, blending courage, loyalty, and heroism within an epic narrative set in a familiar yet strange London."

Tides of Annihilation is a narrative-driven, single-player experience set in a distorted modern London, ravaged by an otherworldly invasion. As Gwendolyn, humanity's last hope, players embark on a quest to uncover a mystery that will decide the fate of reality. Combat features summonable spectral knights, diverse enemies, memorable bosses, and vertically challenging levels featuring gigantic roaming knights.
