Hazelight Studios has once again raised the bar with their latest two-player cooperative adventure, promising an experience that surpasses their previous works. The developers are excited to unveil stunning locations, a compelling narrative, and a plethora of tasks designed to fully immerse players. This new game, known as Split Fiction, not only offers a rich main campaign but also introduces engaging side stories filled with surprises. These additional quests encourage exploration, introducing players to new areas and unique activities, enhancing the overall adventure.
The gaming community is buzzing with anticipation, labeling Split Fiction as one of the most eagerly awaited cooperative hits of the year.
Three years following the successful launch of It Takes Two, Hazelight Studios rolled out a significant update for their cooperative adventure game in May. The developers detailed the full scope of changes on Steam, reflecting a strategic pivot towards catering to the core Steam audience. A notable update is the removal of the requirement for the EA launcher; the game is now fully operational on Steam and compatible with the Steam Deck.
Players can now easily invite their Steam friends to join the fun, and the game fully supports Steam Family Sharing. While an EA account is still needed to connect to EA servers, it is no longer required for local play through Steam Remote Play, making it more accessible to a broader audience.
