System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is set to launch on June 26, 2025, developer Nightdive Studios has officially revealed.
The remastered edition of the iconic 1999 sci-fi horror action RPG is coming to modern platforms for the first time ever. The game will be available on PC through Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and the Humble Bundle Store. It will also mark its debut on consoles, including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Nightdive Studios has reimagined System Shock 2 using its advanced KEX Engine, bringing it up to date with enhanced visuals, refined gameplay mechanics, improved performance, cross-play co-op multiplayer, mod support, and more—all tailored to meet today’s gaming expectations.
