Surprise! Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 is announced

Last year brought many gaming surprises, but Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2's success stands out. This led to the unexpected announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 by Focus Entertainment! While only a short teaser exists, confirming the return of protagonist Titus, anticipation is high.

Saber Interactive, the team behind the hugely popular Space Marine 2, is once again at the helm. Details on the third installment remain scarce for now, but Space Marine 2 will continue receiving updates throughout the year, including new co-op missions and a horde mode.

Beyond Space Marine 3, Saber Interactive is busy with several projects. A recently revealed action game set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe utilizes a wave-based monster system reminiscent of Space Marine 2. They're also developing Turok: Origins, promising intense dinosaur battles.

It's remarkable that Space Marine 2, released only six months ago (September 2024), has already captivated over five million players.
