DC Studios has unveiled an exciting new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie, directed by James Gunn, set to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. This three-minute trailer offers fans an in-depth look at the film's extensive cast of superheroes and supervillains.
The trailer showcases Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, effortlessly dispatching foes with a mere flick of his hand. Isabela Merced makes an impression as Hawkgirl, and we get our best glimpse yet at María Gabriela de Faría's The Engineer. It's revealed that The Engineer is responsible for destroying the robots in Superman's Fortress of Solitude, including Kelex, which was hinted at in a previous trailer where a distressed Superman was seen cradling Kelex after a battle.
The action-packed trailer doesn't shy away from showcasing Krypto the Superdog, who bravely executes a flying punch against The Engineer during their confrontation. It's clear that Krypto is ready to take on any villain that threatens his master.
The trailer also features Lex Luthor, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult, and Ultraman in action. We see more of Edi Gathegi's Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan's Rex Mason / Metamorpho. Additionally, the Hammer of Boravia, a new character created by Gunn for this movie and thought to be Ultraman in disguise, makes an appearance as anticipated following yesterday's trailer teaser.

The relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane is a focal point, with Lois interviewing Clark in his Superman persona. The interview takes a dramatic turn as they argue over the ethics of Superman's controversial intervention in a foreign war. Superman asserts, "I wasn’t representing anyone except for me... and doing good!" In response to Superman's actions, the Hammer of Boravia launches an attack on Downtown Metropolis.
Amidst the chaos, a poignant scene shows a member of the public assisting Superman out of a hole in the ground, a stark contrast to other scenes where the public is seen screaming at him and even throwing objects in anger.
