Subway Surfers is celebrating its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO has planned an exciting global marathon for players. The festivities kick off on May 12th, promising a thrilling experience for fans worldwide.
The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!
The celebration begins in Copenhagen, where Subway Surfers first started. The 13th Anniversary update introduces new content in the Danish capital and introduces a unique daily city-hopping challenge. Players will journey through Copenhagen and unlock up to 21 additional cities, including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To progress, collect World Tour suitcase tokens in each city to unlock the next destination.
This update marks the 200th destination in the World Tour series, a testament to Subway Surfers' global journey that began in 2013. Currently, the game is set in Osaka, celebrating Golden Week with its neon lights, traditional elements, and exclusive content. New characters Saru and Oni Hime are introduced; Saru is available through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime can be obtained via a special offer. Additionally, new social features like Player Names and Friend Lists are being rolled out. Check out the excitement in the official trailer:
