Monster Hunter Now's Season 4: A Frosty Adventure Awaits!
Niantic has unleashed Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transporting players to a breathtaking winter wonderland. Prepare for icy challenges and thrilling hunts amidst a snowy tundra landscape. This season is packed with new additions to keep the hunt exciting, even with virtually frostbitten fingers!
New Monsters and Challenges:
Season 4 introduces a frigid tundra habitat, complete with biting winds and knee-deep snow. Several formidable monsters make their debut, including Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Returning favorites like Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos also appear. Tigrex will be a prominent foe in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlocking these creatures requires completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Access to the tundra is granted after finishing the prologue.
The Versatile Switch Axe:
A brand-new weapon joins the arsenal: the Switch Axe. This dual-function weapon boasts Axe Mode for powerful, far-reaching attacks and Sword Mode for devastating close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing Chapter 2's pre-season story.
Customizable Palico Companions:
Season 4 introduces Palico companions to aid in material gathering and monster scouting. Players can personalize their Palico's fur color, facial features, and name. AR functionality allows for real-world photos with your customized Palico.
Friend Cheering for a Helping Hand:
The addition of Friend Cheering adds a collaborative element. Send cheers to friends for a temporary daily health boost, though there's a limit to the amount of health gained.
