The Story
The Earth, or "The Sphere," faces imminent destruction at the hands of alien invaders. Humanity, forced underground, scrambles to develop new technologies for a desperate counterattack. After years of setbacks, they finally amass sufficient firepower to launch a full-scale offensive. You lead this counteroffensive, tasked with saving the planet.
Gameplay
Sphere Defense faithfully adheres to the classic tower defense formula. You strategically deploy various units, each with unique strengths, to repel waves of enemies. Successful engagements reward you with resources to expand and upgrade your defenses. Higher difficulty levels demand increasingly sophisticated strategies.
The game offers three difficulty settings: easy, normal, and hard, each comprising 10 stages. Expect each stage to last between 5 and 15 minutes. See the game in action:
Diverse Units for Strategic Defense
Sphere Defense features seven distinct unit types, offering a wide range of strategic options. Attack units include the Standard Attack Turret (single-target), the Area Attack Turret (area-of-effect damage), and the Piercing Attack Turret (effective against dense enemy formations).
Support units such as the Cooling Turret and the Incendiary Turret enhance your offensive capabilities. Specialized attack units like the Fixed-Point Attack Unit (precise missile strikes) and the Linear Attack Unit (satellite laser attacks) provide additional tactical flexibility.
