Sony has rolled out new updates for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, enhancing various functionalities of these gaming consoles.
The PS5's latest update, version 25.02-11.00.00, weighs in at 1.3GB and brings several improvements. One of the key enhancements is to the activities feature, where activity details are now fully displayed on cards, with potential spoilers carefully hidden to maintain the gaming experience. Additionally, this update introduces support for Unicode 16.0 emojis, allowing users to express themselves more vividly in messages.
Changes to parental controls have also been implemented. When the restriction level is set to Late Teens or Older, the Communication and User-Generated Content option will default to Restrict. However, if you've previously set this level, your settings will remain unchanged and will be displayed as Customize.
Beyond these specific enhancements, the update also focuses on improving the overall system software performance and stability, as well as enhancing messages and usability on various screens.
