Rest and Recuperation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Sleep is paramount in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering a crucial method of restoring health without relying solely on food and potions. This guide details where to find a place to rest your weary head.
Securing a Bed
Early in the game, acquiring your own bed is essential. Progressing through either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questline, awarded during the "Wedding Crashers" quest, will grant you access to a bed. Radovan's location in Tachov offers a closer starting point. Completing his smithing tutorial unlocks a bed in the room adjacent to the forge.
This bed will be marked on your map, and a nearby chest provides convenient storage. Use this location for convenient health restoration.
Utilizing Campsites
When immediate access to your bed isn't feasible, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game world offer alternative resting spots. While some may be occupied by bandits requiring prior engagement, others are unoccupied. These campsites, marked on your map, allow you to interact with bedrolls for a less comfortable, but effective, sleep.
Sleeping in an NPC's bed is a last resort; getting caught will likely result in a confrontation with the guards unless you can successfully de-escalate the situation.
