Announced back in June 2020, with exciting glimpses shared since, skate. is finally ready for its console playtest on PlayStation and Xbox. While a PC beta date remains unannounced, fans can register as Insiders to receive updates.

According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, console playtesting has been underway since at least December, possibly even September, as highlighted in recent videos. However, developer Full Circle encourages everyone to register, as development is actively ongoing and your feedback is valuable.

To participate in the beta, visit EA's website and navigate to the skate. page to register for the Skate Insider Playtesting program. Besides early access to the game, Insiders will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including a unique skateboard and stickers upon the Early Access launch.

skate. is slated for Early Access release sometime in 2025. This marks a significant return for the franchise, nearly a decade after Skate 3. It will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox as a free-to-play, live-service game. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, skate. promises an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as detailed in a previous interview on Full Circle's YouTube channel.
