Announced in Fall 2022, Konami's Silent Hill f has remained shrouded in mystery until now. This week, however, Konami will lift the veil with a dedicated presentation on March 13th at 3:00 PM PDT.
Set in 1960s Japan, Silent Hill f boasts a narrative penned by Ryukishi07, the acclaimed writer behind the cult classic visual novels Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Umineko no Naku Koro ni. Konami has previously described the game as a fresh take on the Silent Hill franchise, seamlessly blending classic psychological survival horror with unique elements of Japanese culture and folklore.
While the recent Silent Hill 2 Remake was lauded by critics and fans, the anticipation for a truly original entry in the series remains high. Though a release date is still under wraps, the upcoming presentation promises to shed light on Silent Hill f's future.
