In 2024, Stellar Blade generated an impressive $43 million in royalties. According to the financial report released by Shift Up, the company's total revenue reached $151.4 million, marking a significant 30.4% increase compared to the previous year.
The momentum for Stellar Blade shows no signs of waning. Shift Up confidently predicts that the upcoming PC version will surpass the sales of the original PlayStation 5 release, particularly in the Asian market. This optimism is bolstered by the game's initial success, which saw it sell over a million copies shortly after its launch. In IGN's review, Stellar Blade received a commendable 7/10 score, praised for its engaging action RPG combat but critiqued for its lackluster story and some frustrating RPG elements.
Looking ahead, Shift Up is not resting on its laurels. The studio plans to unveil its next project, Project Witches, in the first half of 2025.
