Bethesda has unveiled "Glow of the Ghoul," the latest season for Fallout 76, introducing a fresh way to play as a ghoul with its own perks and drawbacks. Players who undergo the transformation gain complete immunity to radiation, which now restores health instead of causing harm. However, becoming a ghoul can also change how certain factions react to you, creating new challenges in the world.
Available to characters at level 50 and above, the ghoul form removes the need to manage hunger or thirst but introduces two new mechanics: controlling feral progression and radiation buildup. As radiation levels rise, players unlock exclusive perks, adding another layer of strategy. The update also offers new C.A.M.P. items with a radioactive theme for base customization. Players can return to human form whenever they choose, allowing for flexible playstyles.
"Glow of the Ghoul" launches on March 18, offering a novel way to experience the wasteland in Fallout 76.
