Get ready, *The Last of Us* fans! HBO has officially announced that Season 2 will premiere on Sunday, April 13th, at 9 pm ET/PT, also streaming on Max. This highly anticipated season will consist of seven episodes, promising a thrilling continuation of Joel and Ellie's journey.
Picking up five years after the events of Season 1, we find Joel and Ellie settling into a new life with Joel's brother, Tommy, at their Montana commune. Season 2 will adapt the narrative of *The Last of Us Part II*, so players familiar with the game will know what to expect—though not necessarily *everything*!
Returning alongside Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie are several new cast members: Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Merle Dandridge as Marlene, Lamar Johnson as Frank, and Keivonn Woodard as Sam. Tati Gabrielle joins the cast as Nora, and will also star in Naughty Dog's upcoming game, *Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet*.
