"Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.: A Guide"

Author : Noah Update:May 06,2025

Diving into the thrilling world of the cooperative horror game *R.E.P.O.*? It's a physics-based retrieval adventure where you and up to five friends navigate through various maps to locate and extract valuables. But what happens if you lose all your progress? Fear not! Here’s your essential guide on how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.* and ensure your hard-earned progress stays intact.

How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.

Nothing can be more disheartening than booting up your game, expecting to pick up where you left off, only to find out that your latest save is nowhere to be found. This is especially true for new games like *R.E.P.O.*, where autosave features might not be as straightforward as you'd hope. In *R.E.P.O.*, there's no manual save option, so understanding the autosave mechanics is crucial.

The golden rule in *R.E.P.O.* is to complete the level you’re on. The game autosaves only when you successfully finish a level. If you quit during a retrieval mission or meet an untimely demise (sending you to the Disposal Arena), your progress won't be saved. You'll have to start that level all over again. If you die, your save file is wiped clean, and exiting mid-level means you'll need to return to the start of that location.

To save your game, you need to reach the Extraction Point with your valuables, hop into the truck, and signal the Taxman by holding the message button above your head. This action will transport you to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop around, and then use the same button to proceed to the next level.

Once you've left the Service Station and arrived at your next location, it's safe to exit to the main menu or quit the game. The next time you or the host (if playing multiplayer) launches *R.E.P.O.*, you can resume from where you left off. Remember, if you're playing with others, the host is responsible for exiting at the correct time to ensure the game saves properly. When the host quits, everyone else will be logged out as well.
