Today marks an exciting moment for fans of Vampire Survivors as the game introduces its latest free DLC, the Emerald Diorama. This significant update brings a unique crossover with Square Enix's acclaimed fantasy RPG series, SaGa, infusing the game with JRPG elements in what is now its largest update to date.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a fresh stage designed like a mini world map, offering players a sense of world-hopping as they navigate through it. This expansive update adds over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to singers who enchant with cursed melodies.
Players can now arm themselves with more than 16 new weapons and utilize the innovative Glimmer system, which allows for the random acquisition of new skills during runs. Additionally, the soundtrack has been enriched with nine new music tracks, enhancing the atmospheric experience of the game.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, head to Moongolow and interact with the newly introduced merchant. Purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, and you'll be able to unlock the content progressively from there. A notable feature of this DLC is the introduction of character parties, allowing players to form and control their mini squads.

The update also includes two new Adventures, each comprising six chapters. "To End an Ice Age" enhances the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" adds more content to the new DLC, promising hours of additional gameplay.
Alongside the DLC, There's Another Free Update
Simultaneously, the base game has received a free update named The Coop, which, as the name suggests, revolves around chickens. This update introduces Gazebo, a new chicken character, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay.
Players can achieve various new achievements and unlock Darkana. To fully unlock the potential of The Coop update, players need to collect 500 lifetime floor chickens. Here’s a pro tip: when playing The Coop, avoid killing anything for the first minute to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo.
Vampire Survivors, along with the free DLC Emerald Diorama and the free update The Coop, is available on the Google Play Store. The game now supports cross-platform saving, allowing you to continue your progress across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS devices.
