How to Start Thrown to the Dogs in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
First off, if you've pre-ordered *Assassin’s Creed Shadows*, you'll have the opportunity to dive into a unique quest called Thrown to the Dogs. This quest becomes available as soon as you step into Naoe's shoes and gain access to the expansive open world for the first time.
To begin, follow the quest marker on your map to locate a dog, which you'll then need to follow to a farm. Your mission here is to find a key hidden underneath a house. Once you’ve secured the key, head back to the grave site where you first met the dog. After completing these steps, you’ll not only befriend the dog but also mark the quest as completed.
If you're struggling to find the key, keep an eye out for a small crawlspace at the base of the house. Naoe can go prone and squeeze into this space to retrieve the key. It’s a bit tricky, so take your time to spot it.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Preorder Bonuses
Upon successfully completing Thrown to the Dogs, you’ll unlock your pre-order bonuses, which include:
- Tsuki-maru as a pet at the Hideout
- 1,000 XP
While the bonuses might seem modest, they're certainly not without value. Tsuki-maru adds a charming presence to your Hideout, and that 1,000 XP is a significant boost in the early stages of the game.
