The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) has kicked off, featuring a massive 90,000+ competitor registration. This year's first international PUBG Mobile Esports event offers a significant $500,000 prize pool.
The Open Qualifiers, which commenced February 13th, provide a platform for aspiring players to showcase their skills and compete for a Main Event spot. This amateur-only tournament ensures fresh talent takes center stage, challenging established esports organizations.
Teams with at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player (Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21) have already advanced to Round 2. Upcoming weeks will see intense competition for a place in the PMGO Prelims, where they'll face top teams from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.
Twelve teams will ultimately earn a coveted spot in the PMGO Main Event, facing off against PUBG Mobile's elite professionals. Four professional teams—Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage—have already secured their Main Event berths based on their PMGC 2024 performance. Four additional teams will qualify through regional competitions (PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season).
The Open Qualifiers conclude March 2nd, followed by the Prelims (April 10th-11th) and the Main Event (April 12th-13th). This tournament signals the start of a thrilling year for PUBG Mobile Esports, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup and PMGC returning later in 2025.
